I just looked at my charge 2 and saw that screen was black and unresponsive. I’m using iOS if it matters. The battery had a medium charge when I looked at it a couple hours ago. I thought maybe the battery was dead, but attached to the charger and it does not appear to be charging. Any suggestions? Solutions? Thanks!

I had the exact same issue today too. My Fitbit Charge2 is only 10 months old. Not sure what caused this sudden black screen. It was at a medium battery last night. Need to know what to do now.

@anhlarry @Cannonball22 Welcome! It's good that the community is growing!
I will gladly assist you with this issue. Lets start by restarting your device. After this make sure it is charging (the battery status on your app may be outdated) by cleaning the contacts using cotton with rubbing alcohol then charge it by plugging it for a couple of hours directly to your computer's usb port (try different ports) or use an UL listed usb wall adapter. After this, restart your device and see how it behaves.
Let me know how it goes.
