Charge 2 setup for another user

I gave my son a charge 2 last year and does not needed it anymore. I'd like to set it up and use it for myself. I had a charge 2 before that went dead. I logged in to my account and requested to delete my account, still pending deletion.

My son lives in another town, when he gave me his charge 2, he did not delete it from his account.

How do I factory reset it so I can use it?

Your Son does need to delete it form his account as well as remove it from Bluetooth

You also did not need to delete your account. You could of set it up on the one already there.

It does not need to be factory reset. When you set it up it will take over for you. You might get some of his info tough. Because it really needs to be synced to the account one last time before handing it over.

Too late for that though so you will just need to deal with it if it happens when you set it up
