Yes, I eventually had to get a new strap through Fitbit. They were very quick and efficient about it. I believe Amazon also sells them.

Hi how much does it cost to replace the strap on my Fitbit Charge 2 - it was a present for last Christmas and one of the straps is broken - not that i would have expected to break in such a short time though.
thanks

I've had to replace mine twice. And, I see that the same end is failing again on my third band. I wear mine on my left wrist, and the part of,the band that is above the tracker is loose. I've been very careful to treat it carefully, not putting undue pressure on the band. This is frustrating!!!

The strap on mine has just broken. I paid $40AU for it a few months ago to replace the one that broke on the original. Getting rather disappointed with Fitbit overall as this Charge 2 is a replacement for my first fitbit. The first one developed a faulty charge cable and had to be replaced at my cost. It then developed a faulty charge port and I had to pay the difference between the original, and the Charge2, as the original was no longer in stock. As a pensioner that has been using the fitbit to great effect in weight loss and increasing my fitness levels I am not in a financial position to keep paying for replacement bands.

Hi. I also have had a problem with the strap breaking. I had my Fitbit for my Birthday last March and the first strap lasted less than 6 months. I have noticed this evening that my second strap has started breaking. Have you had a second replacement?

This is also my second strap to break, And it now seems that they don't sell the straps anymore because the charge 3 is now out unlessyou pay 59.99 or get a cheap **ahem** rip off from eBay or Amazon!

Thank you all for your comments. I have contacted https://contact.fitbit.com and they are assessing the case. They have opened a case and I have sent off a photograph. I will let you all know what they say. At present they say this is 'unexpected and unintentional', so we will see if they have anything to add and what they suggest I do about it.
