I’ve recently purchased a charge 2. I’ve set it up and all looks good on my phone app. Buttttt the watch itself is only saying www.firbit.com/setup

I've read forums and tried to restart, synch and unsynch, power on and off and everything else that was recommended. Please help

@Lobsterlou , A warm welcome to the Community ! Thank you for sharing your experience and your solution.

When a Fitbit shows the message "www.firbit.com/setup". It means that the Fitbit needs to be paired with your account.
Please try the steps and tips shown here: How do I set up my Fitbit device?

Why can't I set up my Fitbit device?

This has been a problem with my new Charge 2, too. I have followed every imaginable troubleshooting tutorial I could find. My app says it is connected to the watch, and it says it syncs, but the watch never changes from the "www.fitbit.com/setup" screen. Resetting does not help the problem.

Watch version: 22.22.20.17

Fitbit app version: 3.89

Phone: Galaxy S10+ Version: Android 12.

@skouzini Welcome to the forums. I will be happy to assist you. Thanks for the explanation.

It seems the device is still connected but it is displaying what a device shows when they are ready for set up. I recommend that you remove the Charge 2 from your account and set it up again. Open the Fitbit app and at the top tap on the gear icon and if there is none, tap on your profile picture. Then tap on "Charge 2". At the top tap on the trash icon and confirm. Then you can set up the Charge 2 as a new device. After the new setup the screen should be back to normal.

Unfortunately I have done that already, and I tried it again for good measure. Still no success. It seems that this is happening a lot recently with other Charge 2s. Sounds like there was an update that bricked all the Charge 2s in existence.
