Has anyone had a problem with the Fitbit Charge HR 2.  Where it continuously keeps changing modes?  This occurred on and off for about an hour this morning. Now lower lights on numbers also not showing on display.

It's nice to see you around the forums @TerrieMarch! Sorry my friend, but I'm not quite sure about what's going on with your Fitbit. Can you give me more details about what you mean by "switching modes"? Is something related with the quick view? notifications?

If you're having issues with the display I'd recommend restarting your tracker 3 times in a row.

Unfortunately, this did not work.  I still have what looks line lines through my display.  Numbers are now not completely lit, etc.  On Saturday, while my my Fitbit was off my wrist, it started switching through modes.  It would go to run - the time would start and go for 3 to 4 seconds then the "Done" screen would flash.  This cycle kept repeating.  I tried pushing the button but it did not respond.  Then the display started going through the cycles, BPM, Run, Stopwatch and Relax in a constant motion.  Then it would go back to Run and do the same thing again.  I tried to look at the app to see if there was anything going on with that, it seemed fine.  I then shut off auto-sync in case that was doing something but that did not stop it either.  About 15 minutes when by and it then went back to the time screen.  About five minutes later the whole thing started again.  It then finally stopped and since then I have had the issues with the display.

I am hoping you can help me.  I am thinking this must be a defect within the tracker.

Is there an update to this? I know this was two years ago I bought mine shortly after it came out and it lasted very long and good but all of a sudden today I got the same symptoms as the original poster explained. Mine to would stop cycling on the stopwatch and sometimes the rest mode. I thought it might have been the button malfunctioning but I haven't hit it and I've tried wiggling it around and it doesn't do anything. Now I can't long press the button stopwatch on or starting the take a break mode but it doesn't help stop the cycling.
