Charge 2 sync failing

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

My Charge 2 has suddenly started saying "Sync fail". Charge 2 is not showing up on bluetooth setting now. Here is what I have tried so far:

Turned bluetooth on and off again

Restarted both the tracker and my Android phone

Uninstalled and reinstalled the fitbit app at least twice in the past week

Now I don't know what to do. Is fitbit no longer providing support for Charge 2?

Thanks,

Maria

Hi, thanks for your response! This phone and device have been working well
together for quite a while, so the phone is compatible with the tracker.
This difficulty with syncing only started a couple of weeks ago. Today it
would not sync at all, not even manually. Just said "Sync failed".

In addition to the other actions previously mentioned that I've taken, a
few days ago I went into the bluetooth settings on my phone and clicked
"forget" my Charge 2 and then reinstated the tracker. When I did that, it
synced immediately.

a few minutes ago, I deleted the Charge 2 from my account and then did that
whole process again with the bluetooth settings, and the phone synced right
away.

I'm glad this method works, but am concerned that I will have to do this on
a regular basis to keep my tracker syncing.

Just wondering if fitbit is not providing the technical support for older
trackers like Charge 2. Do you have any info about that? Or any other
suggestions for stuff I could try?

Thanks so much!
Maria
