Charge 2 sync not working ... again

2 problems:

1- after Windows 10 May 2019 upgrade Fitbit app does not work anynore

2- I've a new Samsung Galaxy A70 and Fitbit sync is not available (yet) for that device

As I use Fitbit to control my train and sleep, Charge 2 became useless.

I'm going to change something, because I conclude that Fitbit is only to show a beautiful wear in the wrist, because is always with a problem and not in pace with other hardware.

Bye my friends.

@SunsetRunner, welcome! It's nice to have you on board! Sorry for the delay in my reply.

Let me help you with your Charge 2 not syncing with your phone or computer. Your phone doesn't show as compatible but that doesn’t mean it won’t work it just means that it hasn’t been tested by our team. You can try the following:

  • Go to your phone's bluetooth settings and remove all devices listed there.
  • Restart your phone and restart your device
  • Also, if you are using an Android device, check that your app has the necessary permissions (settings > apps > Fitbit > permissions) and make sure bluetooth and location services (GPS) are on.
  • You can find additional suggestions here which includes suggestions for pc's.

Let me know how it goes.

It works now, but with a glitch.

I've done what you said.

But with a particular detail: when you connect Bluetooth the device searches for other devices to pair. DO NOT PAIR CHARGE 2 in the Android settings.

Start Fitbit app and let the app to pair the Charge 2 and after that sync it (you do not see this, you only see the app syncing.

What is the glitch?

Sometimes the app asks for restart the Bluetooth service. Do not do that, click Cancel.

Thank you for the help.

But I do not want a device that has lots of problems syncing from times to times.

Now I finally can sync with Android.

But in the May version of Windows 10 the Fitbit app does not start and don't gives any error message.

Expensive devices should have an excellent software services, and made modifications to app's before the launch of operating systems, as many other equipment/software houses do...
