Charge 2 sync problems with Huawei 10 Pro mate

My charge 2 has suddenly stopped syncing.  I've run all the basic checks: disconnect/reconnect, etc.  It now says it doesn't recognise my device a Huawei 10 Pro mate it has been recognising for the last 12 months. Any help or ideas please?

Let me help you with your Charge 2 not syncing with your phone and thank you for troubleshooting this issue. Your phone doesn't show as compatible but that doesn’t mean it won’t work it just means that it hasn’t been tested by our team. You can try the following:

 

  • Go to your phone's bluetooth settings and remove all devices listed there.
  • Restart your phone and restart your device
  • Also, if you are using an Android device, check that your app has the necessary permissions (settings > apps > Fitbit > permissions) and make sure bluetooth and location services (GPS) are on.

Thank you for your quick response.  This enabled me to do a few dis/re connections and the matter seems to have resolved.  It was useful to read your comment re. compatibility too.
