After not using it for a month, I have noticed my charge 2 exercises don’t show in the app. The charge 2 syncs to the app, and the steps show up, but not the exercises or heart rate. I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling the fitbit and made sure my app on IOS is fully up to date. Has anyone experienced similar problems recently or resolved the issue? Thanks

@JosCoo123 I came to the forum today to post the same question. I have had the same problem with activities not syncing from my Charge 2, except my issue began in September 2024. This problem has been consistent. Also, the app, now version 4.34.1 (Android), does not automatically recognize activities often. It records randomly and inaccurately.

I've had the same problem since the first of the year. I've had this for a long time using a non-Google account. I just moved my account to Google/gmail so I'll see if that fixes it.

@bgauss When you have a chance, please provide an update about how the app behaves since your switch to a Google account. At this point, I just need this problem resolved and am seeking answers. It's been 4 months since the app stopped working correctly.

Hi, I’d already updated my account to Google a while back, and it worked fine initially. It’s only recently the problems have started

Hello, I reported the same issue last week to Fitbit/Google support. They advised me there’s no timescale on the resolve and they are looking into it, looks to be an app issue as I tried everything - reset watch, updated app and iPhone, reinstalled the app, re added watch device. My charge 2 is syncing to the app and recording step count but not logging exercises or walks. I’m also unable to add manually. I’m also signed in with Google account. Hopefully they resolve the issue soon and fix the app.

I just finished my workout and switching to a Google account did not fix the problem.
I paused my workout after 10 minutes and checked my Fitbit and it showed 0.0 miles/steps. So the actual fitbit is not recording the information. It doesn't appear to be app related. I tried tightening my band and no luck. Both the watch and app track my heart rate and calories. It does not show up in the app as a recorded exercise and my steps/miles do not show in the app.
I've reviewed my settings and auto-recognize is still on - set at the minimum of 10 minutes. I've manually started the tracking on my watch and it's not catching the exercise and steps/miles in the app.
I'll keep poking around and i fI find something I will post.

@JosCoo123 Thanks for sharing your experience. I guess it's best to wait for the fixes or find another Fitness watch alternative.

Same for me. I have a Charge 6 and a Charge 2. Worked fine with the Google account, then stopped reporting exercises, but does report steps. The 6 works fine.

Same here on Android...
I have it fully updated... ive restarded the Charge 2; reinstalled the app (latest version 4.34); logged out; reconnected; turned off and on the bluetooth and the cellphone itself: NOTHING works. Everything else syncs (calories, steps...heart rate) But the exercices we start (and finish) on the watch will not appear on the APP tracker... only manual inserted stuff.

@hotnwell I hope you're not onto something. I would hope that Google would tell us if certain features aren't available for the older models.
