Charge 2 syncing

My Charge 2 does sync, but unless the app is actually visible on my phone home screen I have to do a 'pull to sync' and do it manually,  In addition, when I do that first sync of the day, to check my sleep, I can wait up to 45 seconds for it to sync. I'm using an Android HuaWei P10, but my old phone, an iPhone, had the same problems. I've put up with this as 'normal', since I got it last January, but will try this forum.

I've restarted the Charge 2 and the phone, ensured all are updated, removed and reinstalled the app, and reconnected Bluetooth. Restart on Fitbit shows 22.55.02, app firmware is 22.22.55.2. I notice the icon above the phone icon on the app flashing as if it is trying to connect to the device right next to it.

Also - Sleep Insight was sporadic at the start, and hasn't worked for months. I've given up on that. Not sure if that is related.  I am in Canada.

I don't have my Charge 2 connected right now but I think there is a setting for "All-day Sync".  Check that is turned on, also for that, the app must be running, at least in the background.

 

That said, many people would be thrilled to be getting a reliable 45 second sync.  Remember on first sync of the morning, it has to transmit data for all night, plus analyze your sleep.

Before posting, re-read to see if it would make sense to someone else not looking at your Fitbit or phone.

I have a flex 2 and a charge 2 I usually use only the charge 2. The flex 2 appears to be charging but not the flex 2/

Hey @ravensview, welcome aboard! I appreciate you have taken the time to try to troubleshoot this syncing issue. The phone model that you are currently using, the Huawei P10, isn't on the list of compatible devices, so that could be the first inconvenience for your Charge 2 not syncing well. Let me suggest you something, that might help you out with this. Please take a look and follow the tips in this help article: Why won't my Fitbit device sync? Now in regards of the sleep not tracked, I'd like to ask you this, is the general sleep that is not being tracked or just the sleep stages? 

 

@BubbyA, I hope you are doin fine! If you are using those 2 Fitbit, the Flex 2 and the Charge 2, I suggest you to try to sync them but not at the same time. Place one of them in another room while syncing the other one. If you still experiencing syncing issues, follow the tips in the help article that I posted.

@HeydyF The P10 is now on the list of compatible devices but I have the same issue as @ravensview with my Charge 3.

 

I've rebooted both watch and phone multiple times.

 

The tracker is less than a week old.

 

The first day or so there was a permanent fitbit notification on the status bar, but now it is gone.

 

All day sync is on.

 

At least one call has buzzed the tracker today. 

 

Both devices are updated.
