This has happened to me twice now. I exercise for 30+ minutes and synch to my phone. Phone will show active minutes but not the daily exercise. If I log the exercise manually, it will show the daily exercise bot then takes away the active minutes and reduces the steps and miles walked. Most other days, it will show all accurately. Any help in correcting this so synch is accurate?

@EricBerkhimer It's great to see you in the Community!
Let me help you with your exercise detection.Active minutes are granted for the most intense activity your tracker detects this won't equal the amount of time you do an exercise. For example if you go for a walk and do this for an hour but decide to actually jog or run for 20 minutes of that hour, your hour long activity will be detected but most likely will be awarded only 20 active minutes as these were the intense ones. You can read more about active minutes and how they are calculated here so you can compare it with your activity. In this case I suggest you try using the activity mode on your tracker.

@EricBerkhimer thank you for the clarification.
When manually logging an activity, the system will try to calculate the effort done during this time (active minutes, calories burned, etc.) but won't use your tracker's information. The calculation seems to be lower than your actual record, this is why you aren't getting active minutes. You could try to edit your activity to show a higher amount of calories burned this way it is more likely to show active minutes. Still as mentioned on my previous post it would be better to allow your tracker to record your activity so you don't need to do this.
