Charge 2 users, good luck replacing bands now

Talk about planned obsolescence. I have discovered that Charge 2 bands have been discontinued, and conveniently, the newer Charge 3 and 4 bands will not fit on Charge 2. Whatever bands are out there now, I suppose one should scoop up 1 or 5. Unsure if there are knock-offs available anywhere. One thing is for sure, I will not be upgrading to a newer Fitbit, or any other tracker. It's been a nice 3 years, Fitbit. You did help me, however, despite keeping the bands clean, they still broke. It's a shame I am unable to use my now ancient Charge 2, which still works all right, despite it needing charging every 4 days. I will say, if I knew I was going to throw $199 away on something I cannot get replacement parts for, I would have not even bought the Charge 2

I bought an assortment of bands from Amazon that fit my Charge 2.  Gold, Silver, and 7 colors!  Fit perfectly.  My problem now is that I am thinking of getting a Charge 5 and can't find info on whether my Charge 2 bands will fit the Charge 5.  Anyone know??

Hello @kathjas and welcome to the Community forum.  The Charge 5 uses a different connector clasp.  I'm sorry, but your Charge 2 bands won't fit.
