My Charge 2 went black and will not reset, charge or turn back on. My friends did the same thing. It is just out if the extended warranty I purchased. Is it dead?

@Lacyj27 Welcome! Thanks for being part of our Community! Sorry to hear that your Charge 2 isn't working and thank you for troubleshooting this issue. Try cleaning the contacts using cotton with rubbing alcohol then charge it by plugging it for a couple of hours directly to your computer's usb port (try different ports) or use an UL listed usb wall adapter. After this, restart your device and see how it behaves.

Well my Charge 2 worked for a day and then went black again yesterday. I cleaned the contacts, put it on the charger, held the reset button and it cam on and then took it off when it was fully charged. It was black again a few hours later. What makes it keep doing this?
