@allstormspass Welcome to the Fitbit Community! It's great to have you here!

Let me help you with your Charge 2 not charging and thnak you for trying a different charging cable. Try cleaning the contacts using cotton with rubbing alcohol then charge it by plugging it for a couple of hours directly to your computer's usb port (try different ports) or use an UL listed usb wall adapter. After this, restart your device and see how it behaves. You can also find additional suggestions here.

Let me know how it goes.

Thanks for responding and instructions. I cleaned the Fitbit and placed on the charger however it still didn't charge or power on.

No it won’t. Please check out the many comments on the forums about Charge 2 battery failing but Fitbit ignoring customer concern. You get a reply to clean charge points and try different usb or wall chargers and are then ignored.

Outrageous. You must know full well it's got nothing to do with some "cleaning". Mine started this same thing over here tonight. Screen was blank, never done this before. Charged it for the past hour. Changed chargers, changed outlets, tried your  "cleaning'. Nothing. Outlandish.

Yes. Be prepared for a total lack of response and admission of liability from Fitbit ......

How many such reports before Fitbit actually have the courtesy to respond.

I got them on a chat. The rep said I was past warranty. He then offered me a discount to buy a new one. I told him I didn’t have that kind of money to throw around and had little confidence in the brand. The device actually worked pretty good until....::::::it didn’t.

Yes I agree. It was a good tracker until it wasn’t but unfortunately Fitbit customer service has not merit whatsoever. I have had no response beyond the tired old ‘clean the Charge points’ and certainly no offer of any discount on future products.
