My Charge 2 will not sync this week. Dongle is plugged in. Issues with the app began with the latest update push, which has not installed after nearly a month.
Computer is running Windows 7. Time and date are correct; it seems to be an update issue. The syncing window is just the spinning beach ball of death. It has been that way for a couple of weeks, but synced as recently as 7 days ago.

The problem is not actually the inability to sync. The problem is an inability to connect. I'm having the same connection problem as Jim. The Fitbit Charge 2 fails to connect to to the PC. The PC recognizes the Fitbit and attempts to connect; lights flash on the Charge 2. The connection ultimately fails. I can also use Windows Bluetooth system settings to find and recognize my Charge 2. The attempt to connect fails as well. By the way, I thought about updating the firmware on my Charge 2, but, obviously, that requires a connection too. The question then, is how to get the Charge 2 to connect to the PC.

Alvaro, thanks for your reply. While I was just out for a walk, I decided to install this on my laptop (running Win 10) and try it from there, since it's not working on the PC. By the time I had logged in and installed the dongle on the laptop, I had already synced. The site showed it happened 5 minutes ago, which must be exactly how long I was in front of the computer. Wish I knew what changed so we could add that to the knowledge base.
So after typing the above, I switched the dongle back to the PC to see if anything changed. Nope. Still getting the spinning beach ball of death in the Fitbit Connect window. Wish I had some clue as to what the issue is. Thank you again for your reply.

This has happened to me too. Fit bit support were unable to help (I've been through all the support steps with them) I'm pretty sure it's s software app problem, as tried it with a second charge 2 devices and that also can't sync. Who else what is getting this problem? Is this planned obsolesence of charge 2, Fitbit deliberately not supporting/ updating it on latest Android to make us move to the latest model?

Also it's not just about syncing. It stopped syncing. But won't even connect.

my fitbit charge 2 has connected and updated for years. now, in the last week, nothing. do you know what is going on here?
