Charge 2 with Amazon FireHD8

I’ve been given a Fitbit Charge 2 and have an Amazon Fire HD8 tablet but can’t get the tablet to recognise the Charge 2. Is the device compatible with the Tablet?

Thanks for the link. It only shows Phones on the list, so does that mean you can’t link a Charge 2 to  a tablet?
