Hi, I did an update on the app yesterday (19/11/19) and since then my charge 2 hasn't synced. My phone keeps saying device not found. I have turned bluetooth off and on several times and restarted the phone. I have now used my computer to attach my fitbit to the app using the charging cable but still nothing. How do I tell the app on my computer to sync or should this be automatic once the cable is attached?
Thank you

Let me help you syncing your Charge 2 with your phone and computer. On a computer you will need the syncing dongle from Fitbit or have integrated bluetooth. You can check the requirements here. Which phone are you using? Is it compatible? You can try the following:

Best AnswerSame problem Charge 2 will not sync. Says to turn bluetooth on. It is on but does not find the fitbit? Using iMac with Catalina. Other bluetooth devices working.
Best AnswerThis does not work!!
Best Answer.... and Fitbit keep fobbing you off with the same solution - WHICH DOES NOT WORK!!!!!
Best AnswerI'm having the same difficulties with my Charge 2 syncing. Bluetooth can't seem to find the device. My bluetooth somehow manages to find my neighbour's Inspire HR, but can't see my Charge 2. I've tried restarting my phone and bluetooth, connecting directly through bluetooth, and for some reason, the Charge 2 isn't discoverable.I've tried turning all-day sync on and off too.
The only trick that seems to work is using the charger, and holding down the button for 4 seconds to get it to connect. But to have to do this manually every time is a huge pain. After doing this Bluetooth still can't see the Charge 2 automatically.
I've been having the same issue for about a month. Tried it all including deleting my entire account and starting over from scratch, zero. No luck with any of the suggestions. I figured after about 4 years of use the device was just breaking down and I'd need to consider replacing it. Following to see if they come up with a workable solution.
Best AnswerI'm having problems too.
I haven't been able to get mine to sync since Sunday (it's now Wednesday). It will sometimes show my steps for the day but then loses them; yesterday it was showing 3500 at one point, but now says 0 for yesterday.
I've tried all the solutions offered so far, such as restarting the phone, reloading the app, etc and nothing works. I've tried my old phone and have the same issue there.
Basically, my phone(s) can't find my fitbit, even though they can detect my neighbours Bluetooth TV!
Best AnswerI am having this problem too. Bluetooth on Catalina.
Why is FitBit not responding to this major issue?
