Charge 2 won't sync with iphone Xs

Got a new Xs yesterday and can't get my Charge2 to sync at all. I've restarted the phone, the tracker, turned bluetooth off and on, restarted both again, still nothing. Anyone had similar issues/found a solution? Many thanks!

I uninstalled the app and reinstalled it and then logged back in and it still will not auto sync on my iPhone XS Max. It will only update information if I open the app and wait for it to sync. I have also noticed that it is not tracking my sleep correctly either. Says I only sleep about 1.5 hrs to 3 hrs a night. But I’m more displeased with the auto sync not working.

Thanks for your reply @n4speed77! I appreciate you keep trying some tips to sync yout Charge 2 with your iPhone XS, however, due to the incompatibility of this phone model with Fitbit devices, I can't tell you that it'll work.

Now in regards of the sleep tracked, I'd like you to perform a restart of your Charge 2, wear it for a few nights and let me know how it goes!

I'll be around!

I am having the same issues with my phone/Fitbit (Charge 2 HR and iPhone Xs).

I can only get any data to sync if I open the app and physically click the "update" sign. My "all day sync" is off, but that is because every time I try to turn it on, it attempts to connect for about 5 minutes and then says "Bluetooth Pairing Failed: Call Notifications and All-Day Sync are disabled for now. Try again?"

It has been since September that this has been going on and I have lost literally all of my Fitbit functionality because of this (I only use it as a watch at this point). I'm frustrated out of my mind because that's not the only function of the device, but it's completely impractical to have to go in and request that the device sync and then sit there while it syncs (if I back out of the app once I've requested a sync, it cancels the sync).

Does Fitbit know when we will be getting the update for the new iPhones with our devices? It is January, 3-4 months after a major new-phone launch and still there are no new compatibility updates.

Mine finally was able to be found on Bluetooth and sync with my iphone xs.
Make sure you un-sync and forget your Fitbit on your old phone, reboot both
you phone and Fitbit and you should be good to go. Good luck.

@kruckhelen I un-sync-ed my Fitbit, had it forget the Fitbit entirely, and also have not been using the old phone since September. I have literally done every "tip and trick" that has ever been recommended to me by a Fitbit-er.

It's just been 3-4 months of nothing happening or working.

Sorry, that's what worked for me. I thought they finally fixed it because
I have been trying since I got my iphone xs in October.

Why isn’t the xs max being made compatibal?  Should I have gotten an apple watch instead?

Mine will sync and data is there except I haven’t gotten sleep details. I’ve changed bands. Changed from the Alta HR to a Charge 2. Changed sleep positions. Deleted and redownloaded the app. It used to work most every night.

Not to rub salt into the wound, but just for the sake of completeness, I moved from Android to XS in October, never got around to unsyncing my Charge 2 from the Samsung, and all has been well in terms of syncing with the XS. (Getting maps to appear on Android/iPhone/iPad/PC is a different story!)
