Charge 2 won't update

Found my fitbit 2 hr and thought I'd start using it again to get me moving with baby. 

 

Turns on ok. App advised me it needs an update but it tells me to make sure its close enough to my phone - I have it next to it. It literally gets one dot of the update then an exclamation mark comes up on the fitbit and then just keeps restarting - or trying. 

 

Now I cant use it at all? Help please and thanks 🙂

I am sorry to hear your Charge 2 tracker won't update. Thank you for trying to resolve this and providing the additional details. I understand how you are feeling and I am here to help. I recommend trying the following:

 

  1. Connect your tracker to the charging cable.
  2. Turn your tracker off and on again using the instructions in How do I restart my Fitbit device?
  3. Restart your phone, and retry the update: How do I update my Fitbit device?
  4. Log in to your Fitbit account on a different device, and retry the update.
