Charge 2 wont Sync

Since the update to the app my charge 2 wont sync anymore. I have unpaired it and re paired it. My bluetooth can pick it up and it works after I start like it's new. Once I take off my bluetooth and then turn it on to resync it, it no longer syncs on the app. I have a samsung s7 phone.

Let me help you with your Charge 2 not syncing and thank you for troubleshooting this issue. Let's try refreshing the link between your phone and your tracker by doing the following:

 

  • Go to your phone's bluetooth settings and remove all devices listed there.
  • Restart your phone and restart your device
  • Also, if you are using an Android device, check that your app has the necessary permissions (settings > apps > Fitbit > permissions) and make sure bluetooth and location services (GPS) are on.

Thanks. This seems to have worked.  It's taking longer to sync and the first couple of times I had to click on the circle to sync it because all it was saying was that it was looking for a device. This is from the app. I turned my bluetooth on and off a few times and after about 3 times it loaded. Hoping for the best. Thanks again.

This worked and once I started pairing my other devices I am getting the same results.  It wont sync and it cant pair my Fitbit. Is this a Fitbit issue or an app issue? If you know
