Charge 2 wont sync!

My Charge 2 has decided to stop syncing with my Huawei P Smart phone. Occasionally it will randomly sync and the fitbit is already linkes but states no device found. 

I have tried resetting both my fitbit and phone, turning them on and off, forcing the fitbit app to stop but nothing is working.

 

Does anyone have any advice? Or is this Fitbits way of making me buy a newer model?

Let me help you with your Charge 2 not syncing. You can try the following:

  1. Go to your phone's bluetooth settings and remove all devices listed there.
  2. Restart your phone and restart your device
  3. Check that no battery saving app/feature on your phone is affecting your Fitbit app.
  4. Also, on an Android device, check that your app has the necessary permissions (settings > apps > Fitbit > permissions) and make sure bluetooth and location services (GPS) are on.

Ive tried all of the above but have been led to believe that my phone is not compatible with my fitbit. 

I have a Huawei P Smart 2020.
