@Heidi.w  There is a Feature Suggestion asking for a 24 hour clock option in the app.  Please vote for it and comment.  Users should not have to go to the web dashboard for this simple change.

Update 2/5:  I want to thank all of you who voted for this post.  Please take the time to vote for and comment on the linked Feature Suggestion.  We need more votes and comments to get this simple fix.

Hi,

Welcome on board @SunsetRunner, it' nice to see a new member around! As I've stated in this post, to change the clock format on your tracker to to 12 or 24 hrs can only be done in Fitbit.com online Dashboard, not in the Fitbit app.

As @LZeeW suggested, for anything else you would like to see implemented in the future, consider visiting our Feature Suggestions board. This is a space where Community users can post features, ideas, and suggestions that they'd like to see in future Fitbit products, accessories, and software and top-voted suggestions get relayed to our product team for review.

Let me know if there's anything else I may assist you with. Merry Christmas to you 2!

Same here. Tried the personal settings to 12 hour clock and synced...still 24 hour! Using the Charge 2 Retro clock face. The other clock faces correctly show 12 hour mode.

Hi there @bilbothejust! My friend @Heidi.w is right, this change needs to be on Fitbit.com online Dashboard instead of the Fitbit app.

  1. Log into your fitbit.com dashboard and click the gear icon.
  2. Choose Settings > Personal Info.
  3. Under Advanced Settings, find Clock Display Time and select whether you want the time shown in 12-hour or 24-hour clock units.
  4. Click Submit and sync your device.

Let us know how it goes!

Hi MarreFitbit

I did do just that. My issue is the Charge 2 Retro clock face does go to 12 hour mode BUT there is a leading zero. I have a Charge 2 and that clock face does not have the leading zero. It just looks messy and I wish Fitbit would fix the Retro clock face to remove the leading zero.

Thanks,
Bill

I want my Fitbit to show a 24-hour clock and I’ve done every step you mentioned, however my clock STILL shows 12-hour format.

The steps I used are: Signed in from my dashboard, changed it in advanced settings, submitted, and synced.

Yes, I logged into the actual site and changed it but my Fitbit itself still only shows 12 hour time. When I double-check the site, it shows that I have it set for 24 hour time but it’s not showing that.
