I recently purchased a Charge 3 and synced it with my cell phone and tablet. I would now like to do the same with my pc which is running Windows 7. I have heard that the dongle may or may not work with Windows 7. Should I even make the attempt or just go with what I already have? Any suggestions? Thanks.

If you have it syncing with cell phone and tablet, I see no reason to want to get it syncing with PC also. You can still look at all your data on Windows 7 PC without syncing there; just look at fitbit.com and log in with the account/email you are using elsewhere and you will have good view of all the data, retrieved from the main fitbit database.
Plus having too many places to sync from sometimes slows down the sync with competing bluetooth connections, though maybe that would not be the case with the dongle.

@Vo37 To the best of my knowledge, the Charge 3 needs Windows 10 and the Windows 10 app. A dongle will not help you.
IMHO, you have plenty of connectivity. 😉
