Charge 3 Failing slowly

I seem to have many of the symptoms others reported on my Charge 3.

 

For a while, screen would go dim by itself and then I would have to wait until I got home to be able to see, to reset it - but now even on bright, it is pretty much illegible in daylight and useless outside. This has been happening for a few months. 

 

It would also sometimes stop logging a workout, but I assumed this must have been my fault. 

 

Then my screen developed black lines middle of last week, across the top third of the screen. I jumped on to find solutions but found rebooting and changing clock face did nothing and have now lost more lines. 

 

And then Friday, it just started buzzing and turning screen on and off at will, draining battery while I was away on holiday. Assumed it must be dead. 

 

Put it on charge last night and screen behaves the same way, but wasn't buzzing.. Until 5am this morning, waking me up. 

Screen will now completely unresponsive and watch unusable. 

 

I will do the 15 sec reboot when I get home but what next, if that doesn't work, as it doesn't seem to have helped others and I seem to have a lot of issues all at once. 

 

HALP!

As you already tried the restart and long restart, the next step should be to give our team a call or chat with them so that they get a closer look at your Charge 4.
