Charge 3 GPS, swiping and syncing issues

My Charge 3 is connected to my phone via Bluetooth, and my phone says that "Connected GPS is running" constantly. It has been running for the past day or two, and I cannot turn it off. I am also having trouble syncing the Charge 3 to my phone.

 

In addition, the side button on the actual device doesn't seem to work properly.  When I press the button, the screen turns on, but I can't swipe to other menus or turn the screen off by pressing the button again.

 

I am using a Pixel 3 running Android 10.

About the "Connected GPS is running", are you seeing this at the moment of selecting any type of activity?. The syncing, follow the steps in the article: Why won't my Fitbit device sync?.

 

And the swiping, I recommend restarting the unit by follow the steps in the help article: How do I restart my Fitbit device?.
