Hi, I’ve checked all the settings on my charge 3 and iOS device. Location services are enabled, use phone GPS is on, FitBit is always allowed to track etc however I never get maps from my walks or runs. I really don’t want to have to use another app but I’m not sure what else to do. Does anyone have any ideas?

@SunsetRunner Welcome to the Community Forums.
Thanks for the details shared in your post and for the troubleshooting tried prior posting. Note that connected GPS feature on your Fitbit Charge 3 works with the GPS sensors in your nearby phone. To get GPS data, including pace and route for your workout, you must select a GPS exercise from the Exercise app on your device and bring a GPS-enabled phone with you. We recommend turning off Wi-Fi on your phone when using connected GPS to improve the experience.
When you choose a GPS exercise, your device vibrates when your phone finds a GPS signal. If your phone doesn't find a signal immediately, keep in mind that environmental factors including tall buildings, dense forest, steep hills, and even thick cloud cover can interfere with your phone’s ability to connect to GPS satellites. For more information see, How do I use GPS on my Fitbit device?
For best results, wait for your phone to find the signal before you start your workout. However, if you don't want to wait you can start your workout and GPS tracking begins when your phone finds a signal.
After taking in consideration this information, try using GPS again by following the instructions in How do I track my workouts with my Fitbit device?
If you're still having difficulty, I suggest trying these troubleshooting steps:
Hope this helps.

Hi Cindy,
thank you for the response, when you state “you must select a GPS exercise from the Exercise app on your device and bring a GPS-enabled phone with you.” does this mean I need to have another app, for example Strava or map my run, as well as FitBit? So the FitBit charge 3 doesn’t actually track the route?
Thanks
