Charge 3 Logging exercises

Hi everyone

New to fitbit so still trying to get my head around it, I have been using the Charge 3 while doing yoga. What I am unsure about is, does logging the exercise as well as wearing the fitbit during the exercise throw off the number of calories burned? What I don't want to do is log my yoga session and have it pick up my heart rate and the calorie count be drastically off.

Any help would be much appreciated.

If you wear the Charge 3 during exercise, there is no  reason to manually log it afterward.  Instead, use the Exercise App to record it as it happens.  From main clock face, scroll right (swipe left) to 'Exercise'; tap that and scroll to the desired exercise type.  If your desired exercise type is not listed, see the following link for how to add it.
