Charge 3 - Screen brightness

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

I've been wearing my chargec3 since Christmas & the screen has been fine. But yesterday I noticed it was much dimmer & I was struggling to read the screen. I checked the settings, if I changed it to Auto it was impossible to see. I have performed an 8 sec restart & still no joy.......

It seems this is a common issue and I am to the point where I can't properly see the screen in practically in complete darkness!!

Why can't Fitbit just push an update where the brightness is at its highest and people can adjust per their taste. And that setting should be available in the app on the phone and/or the settings in online account.

What's the point of smartwatch otherwise?

Hello @Hiren2011, welcome to the community forums!

I'm very sorry for the experience and thank you very much for your feedback! Please note that the Brightness of your Charge 3 can only be adjusted through the device itself and not from the App, but your suggestion is really appreciated. While this isn't yet available, I'd recommend to post this idea in the Feature Suggestions board so our developers can take it into consideration for new updates or product development.

So, if you have tried the suggested troubleshooting steps from this thread and even adjusting the brightness on the tracker, my best recommendation is to contact the Support Team for further assistance. You can click here to get connected.

I am having the same brightness problem and this suggestion doesn't work.  I tried it several times.  The charge 3 is not the best model.  The charge station is awkward and the cord is way too short to comfortably fit behind furniture.

I am also a long time fitbit user and considering going over to Samsung, but I don't want to sacrifice my fitbit friends and challenges.

My husband is also experiencing the same issue with his Charge 3.  Recently the screen has become so dim, the time is discernable that it doesn't pay to wear it.  From what I can see in previous posts, there is no fix.  Is this correct?
