My HR Charge 3 doesn't seem to hold its charge for longer than 3 days, is this a common fault. Was working well until 2 weeks ago holding charge for 7 days.

I got my fitbit charge 3 yesterday and am having the same issue. I charged it over night and it was at 100% this morning. It’s been on my wrist for about 10 minutes and it’s at 98%

I have had the charging problems mentioned, the battery draining to nothing in a matter of hours. I tried all the methods recommended which didn’t help. I then let the battery drain, charged it to 100%, turned off all notifications and all day sync, went to Settings on the Fitbit, then selected reboot option. The Fitbit rebooted, and since then the battery is working perfectly. I hope this works for those with this problem.

Hi.
I have a problem with my charge 3,last week I showered with it and ever since the battery only lasts for maximum 5 hours, they told me that its waterproof but why is this happening?
Please advise on how I can fix this problem.
Kind regards.

Yes the fitbit is waterproof to 50 metres. Although you had a shower, was there any other liquid, such as shower gel involved? This could be a problem. Try drying out in rice for a couple of days and recharge. Otherwise could be a new fitbit required

Sorry its water resistant to 50 metres. Not waterproof due to the charging prongs on the back of the device.

My Charge 3 battery would last a week, have not changed anything and now it last only about a day. Also records wrong heart rate information or none at all. Like 174 beats per minute, had to check make sure I was alright with a home blood pressure device.

Hi have you been in touch with the FitBit customer service team, and reported your problems? If you have, have you followed the advice from them? If you have and the problem is still there, and the device is still fairly new, a new FitBit is required.

My Fitbit charge three is less than two months old. It was holding a charge for like eight days at a time. All of a sudden it won’t hold a charge for a day. I charge it to 100% and within six hours it’s down to 10%

In late February my Fitbit Charge3. Battery went from lasting the normal4/5 days and then suddenly down to 5 hours. I re charged several times with out success. I then deleted it and tired to recharge. It would not. I decided to forget it, but now in lockdown I tried again, some 6 weeks later. This his time I did get a 100% charge and re installed it. Battery lasted just 6 hours. As before it will not even recharge now. Any further ideas.
By the way I have tried charging from a computer as well as USB hub.
Please advise
Many thanks

I am a swimmer too. I have had fitbit replaced twice in 15 months. First one worked fine for four months, second one worked for 3-4 months and the day I went swimming it stopped, I refused to swim in third one that I received 12/18/19 and now the battery only holds for 6-7 hours. I love the fitbit charge 3 but it has not proven to be quality.

Hi
I too am having battery issues with my charge 3. It’s just coming up to a year old and has been fine until about 2 weeks ago now having to charge every other day
How do I report the problem to Fitbit through the app....I can’t find any options on the app to report issues ? I am not the best with technology, can anybody point in the right direction?
thanks

You cannot report it via the app. You must log onto the sight and get the
return number to call them to return it.
