Charge 3 battery draining quickly and not syncing

My charge 3 is almost 3 months old. After recent update  unpairs my Iphone 8, and battery draining twice fast then before. Never had a issue with pairing before new firmware update. Used to charge the battery once a week, now its every 3 days. So annoying, not expecting these issues. Any solutions? Or I should consider another device?

Sorry to hear that your Charge 3 isn't working as it should after the update. To help with the battery draining quickly I suggest you try cleaning the contacts using cotton swab with rubbing alcohol, then charge it by plugging it for a couple of hours directly to your computer's USB port (try different ports) or use an UL-certified USB adapter. You can follow these instructions to help improve the battery life.

 

Regarding the syncing issues you can try the following:

 

  1. Go to your phone's bluetooth settings and remove all devices listed there.
  2. Restart your phone and restart your device
  3. Check that no battery saving app/feature on your phone is affecting your Fitbit app.
  4. Also, on an Android device, check that your app has the necessary permissions (settings > apps > Fitbit > permissions) and make sure bluetooth and location services (GPS) are on.
