In the last week my Fitbit charge 3 is not holding its charge. One night went to bed with Fitbit a 100% charge when I went to bed and woke up to 15% left. The other night it was at 86% and dead during the night. Have rest set multiple times over the last few days but has not help. It’s less than a year old.can anyone suggest a way to stop or fix this issue. Thanks

Ring FitBit and advise.  I had battery dying within 48hrs constantly.  We spent two weeks going thru various procedures.  Today my replacement arrived.  I am still trying to work out how to swap over but hope this new one works.  If its less than a year since you bought it, get onto them asap before the 1yr warranty runs out.

Hi there @Sathiea, welcome to the Community Forums. Thanks for the details provided about your Charge 3's battery behavior.

I'd like you to review the tips and recommendations provided in the article: Can I extend my Fitbit device's battery life?

As a friendly reminder, the following are some factors that have an impact on battery life and may cause your battery to drain more quickly:

  • Frequently checking the Fitbit app, which syncs your tracker
  • Frequently receiving notifications
  • Frequently checking your stats
  • Using Quick View.

If you still believe your battery is not lasting as long as expected, we’d like you to do a battery test to see how long your battery lasts after a full charge. Please do the following:

  1. Disable the features that can impact battery life as described here.
  2. Fully charge your tracker.
  3. Sync your tracker 5-6 times a day.
  4. Wear your tracker until it is fully depleted.

Hey there @Cognos, thanks for stopping by. I'm glad to hear that your replacement arrived already. If you haven't set it up yet, please follow the steps below:

1. Remove the old Charge 3 from the phone's Bluetooth settings.
2. Turn off other Bluetooth connections when not in use.
3. Plug it into the charging cable and open the Fitbit app.
4. Setup your Charge 3 as a replacement.

Let me know how it goes, I'll be around and glad to further assist you.
