Charge 3 battery draining quickly

I am having battery issues with my charge 3.

I woke up one morning with a dead battery (double checked my app and it was at ~60% at the time of last sync) so, I plugged it back in for 30+ minutes while I went out to run errands.
When I returned it was showing 100%, so I went out for a run and it was dead by the time I returned. I plugged it back in and let it charge for several hours until I went to work, where it died within hours.

I have short reset the device (through settings on the device itself,) reset user data, long reset it by holding the buttons for 15 seconds and it is still facing the same issues.
It dies and shows 0% battery, I plug it in and it jumps up to 100% battery. I take it off the charger or reset the device and it goes back to 0% charge.

I have scrolled through the forum and tried everything I came across so far, and not one of them has worked to solve the issue.

I just started experiencing the same thing in the last couple of weeks. I charge it to 100%, and as soon as I put it on, within minutes, it’s at 30%, then dies.

I'm afraid this does not help.

As mentioned, it's not that my battery life is poor. It's non-existent. It immediately dies, which would leave me to believe it's a software/firmware issue rather than actual battery drain.
If I reset the watch while it's charging in the cradle, it goes from 0 to 100 while still plugged in.

Hello,

Yes my Charge 3 goes from 100% to 0% within minutes.  It could be the battery?  No way to tell. I am not spending money on a potentially unreliable Charge 4.  I am back to wearing my Charge 2.  Charge 2 (2016) is about 5 years old and battery still holding a 5-6 day charge.
