Recently my charge 3 screen went blank. I've tried rebooting it, reinstalling the app, I've looked at various forums and this seems to be a common problem. It is still tracking all my data but without being able to see it it's pretty useless! I'm a nurse so need a reliable watch. I've had it for just over a year so it's out of guarantee.
Im really disappointed, I've had fitbits for years but can't afford to be having to buy a new one every 14 months. Really hope there is a way to fix it

Hi @Alicewylie, welcome to our Fitbit Community. I'm sorry to hear that the display of your Charge 3 stopped turning on. I totally understand how you feel about this and I appreciate the time spent trying to get this issue resolved before contacting our forums.
I'd like you to try a long restart. To do so on your device, follow the steps below:
Keep me posted on the outcome.

You could try this...
Mine was put in sleep mode, if you can still see the face in a dark room, navigate to settings (swipe from right till the last), tap, scroll to sleep mode, tap. Or plug it in, hold side for reboot, look at screen, and if sleep mode should be on the screen, then tap that.
If totally black, I’d have no idea except the reboot, and you probably know the steps.
EDIT: or, as @Astrid_V suggested:
Press the button for 2 seconds and a screen will appear with 2 options: Do Not Disturb & Sleep. Probably you have activated the sleep option. If you touch the sleep option, your device is bright again.

Someone said to make sure your fitbit is not in sleep mode. If my screen is blank for several weeks (and fitbit knows that I have not been pushing it to see my data because the screen is blank), how can I get my fitbit out of sleep mode? Don't you think the fitbit app on our phone should have the option to turn the sleep mode off and on?
