Yesterday my Fitbit went black screen. Did the tips I saw To plug in and press side for 8 seconds to reset. It would only vibrate for 5 seconds and not reset. I tried to change the clock face like I saw Posted but my Bluetooth will not connect to phone. This morning the my Fitbit started to vibrate randomly while sitting on my night stand. What is going on? It was working perfectly and now nothing

It happens the same to me. It started to vibrate by itself, and later on, the screen became almost dar.
I can see letters, but it is to deem to use it. I restarted my Charger 4, and still, I don't get it working.
Should I through it just like another piece of garbage. It cost me $200 two months ago.

I have exact same issue with my Charge 3. Screen started to flicker and vibrate for some minutes, then all went black, and can not be synched anymore. I have tried all tips and tricks (not able to get it to restart, although charged).
Do I need to scrap it?

Same issue with mine as well. It worked this morning until approximately 10:53 AM MST and then the screen went blank. It vibrates when I press the side, but no display. Tried all the restart instructions for the Charge 3, but it only vibrates and doesn't restart.

I’m having the same problem with my charge three. I thought the battery had died when I went camping. So I put it on the charger For awhile and the only thing it will do is vibrate if I hold the side. But I’ve tried resetting it and it will not respond to that at all. No response on the screen and it will stop vibrating after 9-12 seconds.
it’s not syncing to my phone at the moment either.

Hi, I'm having the same problem with my charge 3 too. Have tried the hard switch off and on, but no display at all now!

Update on my issue. I let the Charge 3 be over night and during morning battery was run out. I was able to charge a little bit, and even restart (also getting the smile symbol on display). However, after that, just a single grey line crossing the display. Still not able to synchronize or start.
It might also be worth mentioning, the diods on the back (towards the skin) is all black as well.
Any ideas?

Seems that a lot of customers are having the same or similar issues with the Charge 3. Mine started to vibrate this morning while sitting on my desk by itself. I tried again all the restart options and nothing worked so last night I unplugged it from my computer and left it. This morning when it started to vibrate by itself, I tried to restart it again, now it doesn't vibrate anymore, but still isn't working. No one answers at the call centre. I know they are busy, but not everyone has time to wait. Since there seems to be so many people experiencing the same thing, is this a network issue?

I’m having the same issue - no disk-lay for almost a week. The random vibration just started and I have gone through all the restart steps and no display

My Fitbit is doing the same thing. I upgraded from a charge 2 to a charge 3 just a few months ago and it won’t turn on now- screen is blank and just vibrates. I have tried all the steps to get it to come on that I saw suggested and nothing. It’s a bit frustrating as I never had problems with the charge 2 - any suggestions??

The same thing has happened to me. After being on a chat with Fitbit, they determined that the Charge 3 is faulty. Of course it is over the warranty, so they said they would give me a discount on a new one. that is bull**ahem**. they make junk stuff. I would say go get something better. This is the second Fitbit I have had that crapped out after two years.

Thanks @jimfehr that was very helpful. Mine is 1 1/2 years old so it might be covered. My Fitbit One lasted longer than this one. And I agree, offering a discount is pretty minimal and not enough to invest more $$$ for it only to die within 2-3 years. I wonder why this model is still being sold if so many are faulty....

Thanks again @jimfehr . When I went to the warranty page, I read 2 years but I think that is only if I had bought the extended warranty, which I didn't think I would need.
However, that being said, I woke up this morning to my Fitbit working. I decided to keep it plugged in for the night, since I hadn't tried that. When I woke up this morning, I did the restart again, and it booted up. It's been almost 2 hours and it is still working but not sure I trust it will stay that way. It is also syncing again with my dashboard.
