Charge 3 blank screen and vibrating. Will not restart or connect via blue tooth

My charge 3 has gone blank for a few days, and will not restart with the plug-in USB and hold down button method. I've let it run out of battery and recharged it, with no effect. It's also not connecting via Bluetooth, so I can't update it that way.

 

I see that other users in this thread have had similar problems. Was wondering if there's any other way to restart it or do a software update.

I let it drain itself twice. Plugged it to power up each time. It came back on the third time

Exactly the.same.issues.  

Short.reset.ans long reset solutions have not.worked.

In addition to the regular restart and changing your Fitbit device's clock face, we recommend performing a long restart: Connect the device to the charging cable. While the device is plugged into the charging cable, press and hold the button down for 15 seconds. The device turns on and shows a battery icon.
