Charge 3 blank screen

I have had my Charge 3 for over a year and a half, recently it wouldn't sync to my phone (iPhone 8). After failed attempts to reboot it, I deleted it from my phone's devices, planning to add it back, but it wouldn't show up.

 

Within a few hours, the screen went black and won't come back on. I have tried charging it and restarting it, but it hasn't helped. The button either doesn't work, or works too well (holds a constant vibrate if I try to press the button, but now doesn't work at all).

 

I was wearing it while out in the sun for the entirety of last weekend, and after that is when it started to get wonky. Sun/heat damage? (Mind you, I live in Minnesota so it's not like it was 120 degrees)
