Fitbit had been working fine. Used it this morning when training. On my way home. The Fitbit started vibrating ++ it all different patterns with a black screen. When I got home I thought i would put in on the charger to restart it. Plugged it in. Smiley face came up. Now black screen and not responding to anything. Any tips?

Hi there @Tessafaith, welcome to the Community Forums. Thank you so much for troubleshooting your Charge 3 prior to contacting us.

I've seen you contacted our Support Team after posting here and that they have helped you with this. Please keep an eye on your inbox for updates on your case.

Hello @Transmito, welcome on board. Thanks for the details provided.

If you've noticed moisture on your Charge 3, please follow the steps recommended in the help article: How do I clean my Fitbit device?

Then, restart your tracker and charge it for at least 1 hour to see if something comes up. If the restart doesn't work and the display is still not turning on after performing the steps above, please take a look at the help article: Why isn't my Fitbit device's battery charging?

We recommend to charge your Fitbit via the USB port over a wall adapter. However, it is also possible to charge your Fitbit tracker with a UL certified wall adapter. For best results, don’t leave your device plugged in on the charger longer than overnight.

Tips to better charge your Fitbit:

  • Use only genuine Fitbit charging cables
  • Use only UL-certified wall chargers
  • Avoid USB battery packs
  • Charge at room temperature

For charging purposes, your charging cable can be plugged into any USB power source, including but not limited to:

  • A computer
  • A Wall A/C to USB adapter, commonly found with smartphones
  • A DC to USB adapter (vehicle power port)

Give this a go and let me know the outcome.

Had the same issue and have not found a resolution.  I did notice moisture on one of the sensors on the back.
