After the most recent April update my watch is having lots of issues. The morning of the release of the app. my watch was constantly vibrating and cycling between screens without me touching it. there were also faint black lines interrupting the green on the watch face.
I then noticed the update was available and thought that this may fix the problem. Now my watch has totally died! cannot get anything on the screen, it doesn't sync to my phone (Oppo R15). I have uninstalled the app and reinstalled, changed the clock face. unpaired the watch and now currently trying to re - pair it to my phone. The app has recognized the watch but I can't get the code of the clock face to pair it. I have been watching the forums and have been trying all of the suggested fixes by Fitbit and none of them are working.
Not very happy at all with this watch, clearly something has gone very wrong given the increase of people who are all complaining about sudden failures and yet all the fixes seem to be the same old same old when there is something clearly wrong with the programming of the update. Is there any way that we can go back to life before this update?
I have only had this watch for 15 months and paid $300 for it and so far both bands that came with the watch have perished and now this issue which looks like is now the death of my watch.
I think I may be trying a different brand next time.
