Charge 3 blank screen

I’ve had a Charge 3 for a few months now, and it has been working fine. At the gym yesterday it started vibrating uncontrollably as if I was touching the button, but I wasn’t. I took it off, and when I got home the screen was black.

 

I’ve tried the troubleshooting methods on here and at one point got a smiley face followed by a white line but it’s back to the black screen. Feels like I’ve wasted $100 and this thing is headed for the trash.

I understand how are you feeling and appreciate all the efforts in trying to fix this display issue. If your tracker isn't turning on, I recommend taking a look at this post and follow the instructions provided there.

Now I’m getting upset. I literally said I tried all of the troubleshooting methods on the website and you provide a link to a troubleshooting page that I’ve already attempted multiple times. I tried it again, it still didn’t work. Any more awesome advice? At this point I wish I could just return it or toss it in the trash. If it wasn’t so expensive, I would opt for the latter.
