Hi everyone,

I have had my fitbit charge 3 for over a year and i am having issues for the last few weeks with the screen. It is very faded and cannot see the information displayed. I restarted and charged it but it made no difference. Also, i have to mention that i have not synced it to my phone for probably 8 months because i changed my phone and, apparently, it is not compatible to the brand i have. i tried syncing it to other phones but no success. what should i do? I really do not want to throw it. These products are not cheap.

I have the same issues plus it does not register my heart beat. The plastic watch face cover is so scratched and I can’t source a replacement

No point having a Fitbit if you can’t see the screen, rather useless. Have
only had mine 18 months, the watch band keeps breaking, heart beat doesn’t
record sleep record is sporadic . It would help if one could at least see
the screen.☹️

My charge 3 is also too dim to read - it is very frustrating. I have tried everything changing clock face, reset etc, still too dim to read. I have it set to remind me to get 250 steps but when it vibrates, I can't even see how many steps are needed, very frustrating. I mean, yes, I can sync it and look at the app but when I am working I cannot just pull out my phone and sync without getting in trouble at work.

Every single year since I started with my first Fitbit, just when it gets past my warranty expiration, my fitbits have problems and I end up buying new - the charge 3 has lasted the longest though. I mean it is the standard birthday gift from the hubs every year for 6  years running- well except this year cause on my bday a few months ago, my charge 3 was working correctly.

I am wondering if Fitbit has ever come up with a solution to fix this
problem that actually works! I don’t think I would ever buy a replacement.
It appears that many people have multiple problems that are never fixed☹️

There’s been a recent firmware update. I wonder if that has something to do with it. I hope they fix it fast.
