My device was working fine prior to the update. I would only see white lines when the power was low. After the update, the screen went black, but it would still sync. However, the power dropped from 100% to 0% in one day and it would no longer sync. Also, it wouldn't vibrate on or off the charge. I left it on the charger for a couple hours. I came back and it would only do long vibrations and it was extremely hot. IT also had this weird stick brown stuff on the back. As you can see, the screen is completely fried. My device is one month past the warranty and was only offered 35%.
And I tried all the troubleshooting and still have a dead device.

@Moongl75 It's great to see that you've visited the Fitbit Community!
Sorry to hear about your damaged Charge 3 screen and thank you for reaching out to our Support team. The Charge 3 screen isn't replaceable and Support does follow the guidelines described in the warranty so if your device is outside the warranty period they won't be able to replace it. This is why they offer a discount to help customers in this situation. Still thank you for sharing your feedback.
I'll be around.
