Welcome to the Fitbit Community, @DMLP.

I am sorry to hear your Charge 3 started buzzing and its screens are flickering back and forthThanks for trying to resolve this, I understand how you are feeling and I am here to help. Since you've tried to restart the device, I recommend doing a long restart:

  • Connect the device to the charging cable.
  • While the device is plugged into the charging cable, press and hold the button down for 15 seconds.
  • The device turns on and shows a battery icon. Two vibrations occur: first a short vibration, then a medium vibration
  • The device turns off.
  • The device turns on and shows a progress bar and short vibrations occur. The progress bar completes. Note: A total of 7 short vibrations occur.
  • Remove the device from the charging cable. The device shuts down.
  • Important: Plug the device into the charging cable again.

Keep me posted on the outcome.

Thank you for replying to my post. Before I received your communication, I
did get the Fitbit to stop buzzing and flickering. Now I cannot read the
screens because the top half is just gone and what is left is so faded I
cannot read it. Any suggestions for this problem?

I neglected to mention that after my Fitbit stopped buzzing & flickering, other problems began to happen:

Heart rate wacky

Only get general sleep info

Stair activity way off

Any suggestions to these problems would also be greatly appreciated!

Same behavior as the original poster.  All started today when I charged the fitbit.  Removed from port & device jumps screens, vibrates, wont respond normally.  Your solution to reboot did not work - didnt seem to shut down & never saw the progression bar you spoke of.  What did you guys do?
