Charge 3 cannot sync

Hi, I manually updated the fitbit app 3 days ago and today realised my Charge 3 is no longer syncing with my phone.  The app was showing data up to the day I updated but nothing since, the manual sync won't work, neither does the help and support button. It says there are no devices connected, but if I try to connect my Charge 3 as a new device it doesnt work and just times out. I then uninstalled and reinstalled, and now can't even sign in to the app. Any advice please?

Welcome to the forums @Kottie66.

Thank you for sharing the inquiry regarding Charge 3. Sorry to know the difficulty.

In addition to the steps you've done so far, please try:

  • Unpair your Charge 3 from your phone's Bluetooth and Fitbit app.
  • Unpair other Bluetooth devices that you may also have paired to your phone's Bluetooth settings.
  • Force quit the Fitbit app.
  • Turn off other Bluetooth connections when not in use. This can help to prevent connectivity issues or Bluetooth interference.
  • Shut off your phone and turn it on after 1-2 minutes.
  • Turn on the Bluetooth on your phone.
  • Plug it into the charging cable and open the Fitbit app.
  • Set up your Charge 3.
  • If there is no connection, restart your Charge 3.
  • Once your Charge 3 is paired and syncing, please proceed to set up your other Bluetooth devices to your phone again.

Please, try to pair your Charge 3 first to your phone's Bluetooth settings before any other Bluetooth device is connected to your phone.
