Charge 3 compatibility with Pixel 3

Because I am very frustrated that my new Pixel 3 will not sync with the Charge 2, I am reaching out to ask if the Charge 3 is compatible with the Pixel 3? I rely heavily on the notifications feature of these watches and feel let down that this (as well as syncing in general) does not work with my new phone.

I have been able to get it to sync periodically, usually after a combination of the following steps, but haven't identified what makes it work, or what could make it work continuously

• Force stop Fitibit App
• Forget Charge 3 in bluetooth
• Turn bluetooth off and on
• Reboot Charge 3
• Restart phone
• Sometimes forget Charge 3 in Fitbit app
• Sometimes reinstall Fitbit app

But still having trouble on manual syncs and not consistently getting notifications.

I am very frustrated!  I just purchased a Pixel 3.  It syncs with my Charge 3 to show data, but will not vibrate for messages and calls.  All the notifications are on.  I even went so far as to uninstall everything, having to use a different email.  Doing this lost all my previous data, even some from today.  I have been a Fitbit user for many years and am extremely upset.

I am just a Fitbit user, but mine does show (slightly delayed by a second
or two) phone messages and vibrates. If you are getting data, Bluetooth is
working. You do have notifications turn on Fitbit itself right? And maybe
in Fitbit app. Long press on sides. Turning BT off and on sometimes helps
me. I don't unpair given that is really the hardest part...just getting it
paired with data. Good luck.

I can't get my charge 3 to connect to my Google Pixel 3XL. I have tried everything I can think of. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you 😊

Try, try, try again. Get into a room without any other BT or WiFi
signals. Reboot phone and fit bit and try.

I just took a hammer to my charge 2 and threw it in the garbage.  Will not be buying another Fitbit ever.
