I noted last weekend that the Fitbit still tracks 'steps'and 'stairs'when i'm cycling. i spent all day in the saddle, yet it counted over 12,000 steps and 39 flights of stairs.

surely it should be smart enough to understand that when cycling I'm not stepping nor am I climbing stairs

Hello there @nilpena, it's nice to see you around the Community Forums. We apologize for the late response, due to recent events affecting our operations, we're taking longer to respond.

I'm sorry to hear that your Charge 3 is counting too many steps when cycling. I'd recommend taking a look at this article to get more information about what's happening: Why does my Fitbit device count steps when I'm riding a bike?

Hope that helps, let me know if you need further assistance.
