Charge 3 dead pixels on the screen

Ive got a line of dead pixels near the top of my screen on a charge 3 that I got last December. I did the reboot from the settings on the device. That did not solve my problem. I then tried to reboot with the device plugged in to the charger, but for some reason it does not seem to be responding to that. I have successfully rebooted it while on the charger before. I also made sure that the battery was fully charged. Any help or suggestions would be appreciated.

I did finally get the tracker to reset while plugged in, but it did not seem to fix the problem either.

Hi MarreFitbit my charge 3 has dead pixels running vertically and horizontally. 

I’ve tried to restart the Fitbit and I’ve tried to change the screen both to no avail.

I think i am having the same issue. the charge 3 has two black lines on the top. This was given to me as a gift in December.

Welcome on board @KateYenik! If you're having the same issue with your Charge 3's screen, I'd recommend trying to perform a restart

 

If the restart does not work either, please check on the Fitbit app if your Charge 3 is still syncing. If so, change the clock face to a different one to see if this brings back the display. Don't worry if you cannot see anything on the display by now, this process is done through the Fitbit app.

I'm having the same issues, I currently up to four dead lines, I have tried resetting and changing the clock face, neither as worked at all

I have the same problem with a charge 3 SE since yesterday. The given solutions  (restart and/or changing the clock face) don't solve the issue.

I am having the same issue as well. There are a couple of dead pixels towards the top of my Fitbit Charge 3. I rebooted the device, and it has not helped.

I'm having this issue too... Yesterday it started with small lines and now have lots more... In few hours, the problem is getting worse 😩 I have restarted it, but sadly this doesn't solve the problem.photo5114198854667970596.jpg

Same with mine.  Now my screen is completely blank. Tried all resets with no luck.

Tried changing clock faces to. Outt went to having a few lines missing to having only a couple workin. Did resets, and changed clock face.  Nothing worked and now now lines at all. It's still working as it vibrates Ann's still syncs with my phone just no display.

Dear MarreFitBit,

 

I am having the same issues. 6 lines of dead pixels on my Charge 3 suddenly appeared this week. I have done the reboots that were advised in this forum, but no can do.

Also the battery life seems to have gone from 7-8 days to 4 days now. My usage pattern has remained the same since I bought the Charge 3 in January 2019.

 

Any ideas?

Hi, If the Fitbit still is under warranty, contact Fitbit servicedesk. They will swap it for free.

Hello, there are black lines running through my charge 3 watch face and it no longer lights up when I flip my wrist. Please advise on how to fix this.

It's no longer under warranty. I bought it in January 2019, and the warranty is 12 months 😞
