Charge 3 died

The last few days my Charge 3 has gone crazy!! Friday it recorded my steps and sleep just fine but when I woke up Saturday morning it drained from 70% to 6%. I charged it and restarted it and throughout the day it got my steps just fine. But Saturday when went to sleep I ended up waking up early this morning to it flashing and buzzing. 

That stopped and the screen went black. It only buzzed when I touched the button. Putting it in the charger did nothing and the screen stayed black. Tried to restart it but nothing changed. I chatted with support and it sounds like it is a goner....

It is no longer linked to my app and I cannot see the amount of steps I have taken. I don't want to loose my data....

It was 3 years old!

How long has the charge 3 lasted for others? Similar dying at the end?

Hi, @hikerwoman22 , your Charge 3 might be a goner, but after it has had a couple of hours on the charger, try the restart again a couple more times.  You might be lucky.  My Charge 3 is still going strong.

To give your Fitbit the longest life, avoid deep discharges and whenever possible keep it about 20-80% charged.
