Have screen lines for some time and no resetting has helped. Filed complaint in January with no answer. Now it will not synchronize and can not be located. Wife got me this as a gift and feel as if she wasted her money.

I understand how are you feeling. If you are having problems with your tracker's display, I recommend following the steps provided here. Now about the syncing, follow the steps in the article: Why won't my Fitbit device sync?.
