My Charge 3 is 15 months old and is displaying faded white banding. It is vertical and corresponds to anything that should be displayed. For example all of the numbers from the displayed time have a vertical band above and below them. It counts steps and heart rate fine and syncs over Bluetooth.
I do wear it in the shower but I understood that would be fine. I have tried all the fully charge and reset procedures others have mentioned in similar complaint threads. Clipped to Fitbit charger, held touch button and vibrated multiple times while rebooting.
