Charge 3 display is virtually unreadable after the last software update. I literally have to find a dark place during the day to set up a workout. I have tried resetting etc. with no change in display. I have also toggled brightness settings with no change.

I had the same issue until I changed the display and restarted my phone. No issues since.

@chapmaj @Makanani27 Thanks for stopping by!
Let me help you with your Charge 3 display not being bright enough. As @Makanani27 kindly mentioned you can try restarting the tracker itself (not the phone as this won't really affect your tracker's display) and make sure that your trackers' screen brightness isn't set to Dim on its settings.
@Makanani27 thank you for your help here.
Let me know how it goes.

I tried the restart and set the brightness to Normal with Sleep Mode turned off. I understand that this really has nothing to do with the phone screen. I have seen responses to similar posts where Fitbit Customer Service is acknowledging that this is a known issue and will be corrected in a forthcoming software update. Can you confirm and indicate when the update will be released?
Again the screen is virtually unreadable in kind of light
